BUS operator First will be giving passengers the chance to engage with the company's managers on social media this evening over service issues.

The online Meet the Solent Managers' event for customers of services in Fareham and Gosport will use Facebook and Twitter from between 5pm and 7pm.

Those taking part can interact with the senior mangers using the hashtag #tweetboss on twitter.com/FirstHampshire or through its dedicated Facebook page, facebook.com/FirstHampshire.

Among those on the panel will be Jonathan Crossland, Business Manager for First Solent, Andy Anderson and Bill Sprake, both Operations Managers for First Solent and Natacha Tagholm, regional customer services manager.

Ms Tagholm said: “We are finding these sessions invaluable in giving customers another channel through which to talk to us directly about their bus services and give us any feedback or comments.

“The session is time to coincide when people are travelling during the rush-hour and if they are on one of our buses, they can use the free WiFi, where available, to take part.”
