Southampton takeaway allowed to open until 3am

First published in News

LICENSING chiefs have allowed a takeaway to extend its opening hours.

Southampton City Council’s licensing panel has allowed Roosters Piri Piri to stay open until 3am on Fridays and Saturday.

The London Road take-away had wanted to stay open until 5am but Hampshire police objected saying it could lead to an increase in anti-social behaviour.

A compromise was reach-ed allowing the takeaway to open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, until 1am Monday to Thursday and until midnight on Sundays.

Licensed doorstaff must be on duty when the restaurant is open until 3am.

Chicken doesn't increase anti-social behaviour! Morons do!

And sotonboy - At 2:30am, if you fancy some chicken, you will have some chicken. Regardless of it's official rating!
