TWO more ponies have been killed on New Forest roads.

A bay mare was seriously injured by a vehicle in Pages Lane, East Boldre, and a grey filly was badly hurt in a collision on the B3078 at Godshill Ridge.

Both animals had to be humanely destroyed by one of the New Forest Agisters.

Yet more death and carnage on New Forest roads NOT caused by cyclists, time to wake up and face facts New Forest NPA, cyclists aren't the ones who need a 'code of conduct' here

Mass cycling events could be disruptive if not done respectfully such as litter dropping or if the ride ventures through undisturbed parts rather than roads and paths (unlikely because bikes wouldn't go through that terrain) but it is cars which are the biggest danger to animals directly and indirectly because many of them have littler thrown out the window, and speed with no consideration to the animals and then just drive off! Also, driving cars negatively impacts the environment more as a whole. Overall, it's not a battle between cyclists and drivers but respectful one's of either and those who aren't.
