TONIGHT'S Sydenhams Wessex League semi-final between Sholing and holders Alresford Town has been postponed for a second time.

The match, to be played at the neutral venue of Winchester's Denplan City Ground, was washed out by yet another bout of heavy overnight rain.

Dave Diaper's Sholing now have their fingers tightly crossed that the weather improves in time for Saturday's eagerly awaited FA Vase fifth round tie at home to Larkhall Athletic.

64 days of season left minimum of 22 games to be played!!!! The rain needs to stop we need to start playing these fixtures. Trevor Diaper is a brilliant groudsman and I know him and our supporters (if needed) will do all they can to get Saturday's game on.
